At the fair

Hubby and I went to the county fair:

Very, very disappointed - hardly ANY chickens there.

Usually they take up an entire building.

It was mostly rabbits - this guy was enormous!

Always enjoy the machine shop:

Don't they make big carousels anymore?

Lots of quilts - they were lovely:

Plenty of art work, too:

Steam engines!

Too cute!

:o)

  1. From the sounds of thing most county fairs aren't as nice as they were a few years ago. Sis went to the one in Gallia County, Ohio and she was disappointed. I think the shut-downs drove folks like the carneys and food stalls out of business.

    1. They didn't have it last year because of the flu. I usually go just to see the animals, Everything was just too "tacky'! Won't go again.

    1. It's expensive - We had 2 cheeseburgers, 1 FF and 1 lemonade = $29.00! People up here can't afford that. Imagine if you bought your family!I feel sorry for the 4H kids that work so hard all year to go to that show.
