The weather in Coopville is supposed to be warm and sunny this week. Hubby and I have a lot of work to to outside. Will be taking the week off to try to get it all done while the weather cooperates - will post pics of our efforts next week!

This is a R-910 abandoned model train produced by Märklin between 1938 and 1955. I bought it at a flea market. Each part was pretty much seized. The engine was totally blocked and I thought I couldn't bring it back to life... I spent one entire day trying to fix it. The front and rear counterweights were originally riveted then I had to make threads to fix them again. I found some pictures of old labels on the internet. Please watch till the end to see this Pre-war rusty locomotive in action !

Our allowance was a quarter each week when I was a kid. My brother would take me to the candy store so I could get a new comic book. The store had racks and racks of them. It was sooo hard to choose which one to buy!
Wish I had kept some of them!
