Craft fair...

Hubby and I went to a"German Style" craft show at our local fair grounds. It's only 10 minutes from Coopville, but the traffic was horrendous! It took 45 minutes just to get in!

Lots and lot of arts and craft and lots and lots of German chocolates and food! We didn't get any, but enjoyed the train exhibit a lot. The craft booths were jammed, so we didn't get to see everything..

 The train layout was wonderful!

They had pony rides for the kids ....

..... and a petting zoo:

For the grownup, there were wagon rides:

A chain saw artist was selling his crafts:

The cookies WERE tempting, though!

THE SUNDANCE CENTRAL RAILROAD - The Sundance was formed in January 2004 with the goal to create a more detailed and uniformly scened, large-scale traveling layout.

This 1:20.3 scale modular model railroad consisting of forty modules for a layout size of 45 feet by 45 feet.

The railroad consists of 400 feet of hand laid code 250 aluminum rails that are hand spiked with individual tie plates onto wood ties with a total of 16 turn-outs.

The modular was built by a group of seven model train enthusiasts. This diverse group is made up of people who have a passion of early narrow gauge steam locomotives to modern day standard gauge diesels.

The purpose for forming this modular group was to provide the public a realistic look at model railroading in a large-scale format.

The modules are highly detailed from the scratch built supporting structures and buildings down to the surrounding scenery.

The trains and rolling stock that will be running on these modules will also be highly detailed and weathered.

Still yucky here in Coopville:

No sunshine - cloudy and damp.

Frost melting on the trees - it looked pretty - just droplets of water glistening:

Benji and the girls:

Spot:

In the garden looking for bugs:

The forsythia is still blooming - I don't know how. It's been so cold:

No birds came for the seeds - I guess they found a neighbor's bird feeder.

Kitty-Kat is disappointed - he love to watch them!

Neat clouds late yesterday afternoon:

A most beautiful....

                             ..... BUG!

Tortoise beetles own their name to the carapace under which they can find shelter like a tortoise, with the difference that their carapace can open for flight. This species with a ruby ring on gold ground is from the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador

 THIS is really me!!!!

(H/T to Donna!!)

Absolutely....

.... NOTHING going on in Coopville, Nada:

It's been cold, damp and wet. Benji and the girls only come out of the coop to eat and then run back inside.

Not much to post about. Think I'll only post on Friday for a while. I'm afraid I am boring everyone....
