I have decided to put the blog to bed. I am having too many problems with Blogger and my old, old camera. Except for a few of my loyal readers, the viewing stats are way down. After 10 years I guess my motley gang of chickens has lost their appeal. (Although I think they are still adorable)!
I just want to say "Thank You" for the kindness you have always shown to Hubby and myself. You have helped us get through some pretty darn tough times and we will be forever grateful to you.
We loved your comments and funny E-mails - oh, how they made us laugh! Thanks for sending them!
I am going to miss you all so much!
Just want to give a special thanks to John, The Feral Irishman. John encouraged me to start blogging - I'm so glad I took his advice - I've met hundreds of wonderful people and made a lot of friends thanks to him!
Again, dear readers, thank you for allowing us into your home and thank you for visiting with us!

ReplyDeleteYeah, you'll miss blogging, like I do, but when it's time to lay it all aside, it's a relief and freedom as well.
Remember what you told me when my big Sister passed? Something like "When you see something that you know she'd like...but she won't be there to share it..." ...Something like that. Since then another Sister has passed on, and I'm the last one standing in my family. Sigh!
When it's time to move on, it's just time, that's all. You encouraged me to blog, and I did for 5 years. Then I had to lay it aside. I miss it, but the freedom is delicious. There's so much to do, and you need the time to be able to do it, and do it right.
The Gang has been such a delight!!!
So many will miss you!
