A steam gun? You 'betcha!
Back in the mid-1800s, inventors were finding new ways to use steam technology, including for weaponry. This episode tells the story of The Winans Steam Gun, which was built to be a killing machine during the Civil War. But, in fact, it didn't live up to the hype. And, the man it's named after probably didn't even know it existed.
