:o)
A guy in FL had one as a "pet" severl years back. It killed him.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was looking for info on them, some articles mentioned that a man was killed by one. Sad.
DeleteI'm okay with snakes and spiders, but generally, if it lives outside, unassisted, it demands respect. A bird with legs that long can kick the snot outta a guy. LookA that lump of rock on its head..
ReplyDeleteDon't let the green eggs fool ya.. That thing is dangerous.
I don't mind snakes - but spiders? Yikes - no way! very near-sited, but can spot one 100 yards away! The eggs are beautiful!
DeleteBeautiful birds, not to be taken lightly. I keep peafowl, which are 1/5 the size of these fellows, and I've lost blood a few times from them.
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful birds! Do you breed them for sale or keep them as pets?
