..... like Winter the last few days:
The birdbath froze:
Very windy!
Frost on the garage roof:
The new green grass is frozen, too!
Even the horses had their blanket on!

Spot stopped laying eggs again. Maybe when it starts to really warm up, she'll get down to business!
(I hate buying eggs at the store)
The gang only comes out of the coop to eat because the wind just rips right through the pen. The plastic on one side was blown away.
The weather guru said it should be near 70 on Friday - maybe he will be right for a change!

ReplyDeleteUntil the pullets arrive, we're going to keep watching the price go up and up! They go fast around here - everyone wants one or two to keep just for eggs. Chicken feed, bedding and hay have gone up also.

That was a wonderful link! You could slide the time line along the bottom! We just had a little bit of sleet that turned to all rain - no snow, thankfully! We are sick of it! :o)
